Chocolate chip cookies
Hi everyone! I'm posting after months I know but i absolutely had to post this recipe because I tried it and it was really easy and delicious. I researched about chocolate chip cookies and I deduced that I should try Gemma's recipe for best ever chocolate chip cookies. Her recipe yielded 15 cookies so I split all her ingredients to a half and first i tried the same 190 degree Celsius for 12 minutes as she instructed but i burnt my cookies in the process because i had a gas oven. so later i preheated at 200 degree Celsius and cooked for just 10 minutes at 120 degree Celsius and they turned out perfect this time. I had to let them rest for ten minutes before serving.
This recipe yields 8 large cookies. you can double or triple it. Also one tip that I found really helpful was that I let the butter cool down before mixing in the sugars that prevents the cookie from becoming flat. Most importantly use good quality bitter sweet or even dark chocolate chunks or chips that really really makes a difference in the cookies or add 2 different kind of chocolates milk and dark OR add coca powder to half the batch and make double chocolate cookies. Serve them with milk or tea or vanilla ice cream it's up to you.
