Layered chicken burgers
Hey everyone!
Hope all of are doing well!
Since the pole suggests chicken burger as to be the favorite, so i decided to make one today! But the difference is that it has 2 patties and there's an addition of a yummy sauce and caramelized onions! The reason i opted for a double size option is that you can use two thin chicken patties and they are easily cooked in lesser time. So lets get started!

INGREDIENTS FOR MARINADE:

  1. Minced chicken 400-500 g
  2. 1 egg
  3. 5 tbsp bread crumbs
  4. 1 tsp salt
  5. 1 tsp red chili powder
  6. 1 tsp garlic paste
  7. 1 tsp mustard paste
  8. 1 tbsp vinegar
  9. 1 tsp hot sauce
  10. 1/2 tsp black pepper
  11. 1/2 tsp white pepper
  12. 1 small onion finely chopped or blended
  13. 2 pickled green chilies or jalapeños
  14. 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  15. Red chilly flakes



OTHER INGREDIENTS FOR BREADING ETC:
  1. Bread crumbs( 2 breads seasoned with garlic powder, salt and black pepper)
  2. 1 egg ( mixed with little water and red chili flakes)
  3. Plain flour ( mixed with garlic powder, white pepper, oregano, onion powder)
  4. 3 burger buns
  5. 2 onions for caramelization
  6. Oil for frying
  7. Lettuce
  8. Tomatoes
INGREDIENTS FOR CHEESE SAUCE:
  1. 2 tbsp cream
  2. 1 tsp butter
  3. Cheddar cheese
  4. Mustard paste 1 tsp
  5. Salt, dried oregano and pepper
METHOD:
  1. Add all ingredients for marination in the chicken except egg and bread crumbs  and marinate for 1 hour, then add egg and bread crumbs.
  2. Prepare caramelized onions on a pan for 45 minutes 
  3. Prepare the breading
  4. Divide chicken into 6 parts 
  5. Carefully make balls out of them
  6. One at a time dip in flour then egg then breadcrumbs then fry
  7. Fry on medium by covering the utensil for 20 minutes 
  8. For cheese sauce in a non stick pan add butter then add all the other ingredients, let the cheese melt, then get it off the flame.
  9. Toast the burger buns
  10. Add lettuce/ tomatoes with Mayo on one side
  11. Then place one patti, pour cheese sauce
  12. Place caramelized onions
  13. Then place the second Patti
  14. Add cheese sauce
  15. Cover up.                

    PREPARATION TIME: 2 hours 

    COOKING TIME: 1 hour

    SERVES: 3
