Meatballs pasta

Hi everyone!
Today i was really hungry so i decided to make this pasta which is not exactly easy because it has some different steps but the end result is amazing! Yumm!
So lets get started!

INGREDIENTS FOR TOMATO SAUCE:

  1. 5 ripe tomatoes
  2. 1 cup water
  3. Mint leaves( 2 stalks)
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Rich chilli powder
  6. Orange juice( out of 2 fresh oranges)
  7. Pickles
  8. Oregano
  9. Garlic paste ( quarter tsp)
  10. 1 lemon
  11. 1 cup ketchup
  12. White pepper
  13. 1 green chilli



INGREDIENTS FOR MEATBALLS:

  1. Half kg minced chicken or beef
  2. 1 onion chopped
  3. 1 tsp garlic paste
  4. 1 tbsp salt (leveled)
  5. Red chilli powder
  6. Red chilli flakes
  7. Soya sauce (3 tbsp)
  8. Hot sauce (3 tbsp)
  9. Vinegar (2 tsp)
  10. Black pepper
  11. Oil to fry
  12. Cornflour 2 tsp
  13. 3 tbsp bread crumbs

INGREDIENTS FOR PASTA:

  1. 400 g boiled spiral pasta (or any shape)
  2. 2 capsicum
  3. 1 carrot
  4. Half cabbage
  5. Peas
  6. Salt
  7. Black pepper
  8. Soya sauce
  9. Oil
  10. Garlic paste

METHOD FOR SAUCE:



  1. In a saucepan add some water and tomatoes and allow the water to boil a little then take it off the flame.
  2. Carefully remove the tomatoes and peel off the skin.
  3. In blender add tomatoes, green chilli, red chilli powder, salt, mint leaves, pickles, lemon juice, orange juice, water and blend.
  4. Now in a pan heat a little oil, add garlic paste. Allow it to cook.
  5. Now add the blended mixture. 
  6. Add oregano/thyme and ketchup.
  7. Allow it to cook and reduce a little.
  8. You can always double the amount of ingredients for twice the amount of sauce if you love more flavor! :D

METHOD FOR MAKING MEATBALLS:




  1. Add all the ingredients to the chicken or beef.
  2. Mix well and marinate it if you've got time.
  3. Heat oil.
  4. With the help of you fingers take little chicken at a time and carefully add directly to the oil(no need to formulate any balls)
  5. Fry till they are cooked.

INGREDIENTS FOR PASTA:

  1. In a pan heat some oil and add garlic paste.
  2. Add vegetables and stir fry.
  3. Add salt, black pepper.
  4. Add pasta and soya sauce.
  5. Now meanwhile mix the meatballs in your sauce and add this mixture over you pasta.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Top with oregano or mixed herbs.
You can add mozzarella/ cheddar on top aswell if you like!



COOKING TIME: 1.5 hours
