Fried chicken burger with jalapeño sauce

Hi everyone!
So today I'm sharing this easy recipe which I made using mini burgers but you could adjust the chicken size according to the size of the bread you are using!
Plus you can always replace jalapenos with dill peppers if that's what's available!

INGREDIENTS for brining:

  1. 1 chicken breast half for 2 normal sized burgers or 3 mini burgers.( so decide the amount of chicken according to your requirements)
  2. 1 pack of jalapeno pickle juice 
  3. 1 tsp MSG
  4. 1 tbsp salt
  5. 1 tsp black pepper
  6. 1 tbsp hot sauce
  7. 1 tsp sugar
  8. 1 tsp red chili powder
  9. 2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
  10. 1 tsp red chili flakes

INGREDIENTS for the breading:

  1. 2 cups of plain flour seasoned with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, oregano, MSG, salt to taste, paprika or red chilli powder.
  2. 1 egg 
  3. 1 cup of milk mixed with a tsp of pepper

INGREDIENTS FOR assembling the burger:

  1. Burger buns
  2. Ice burg lattice
  3. Tooth picks


  1. 160 grams of jalapeno pickles or half a bottle chopped.
  2. 2 cups of mayonnaise
  3. 1 cup of ketchup
  4. Half cup hot sauce
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Pinch of black pepper
  7. 1 very small finely chopped onion
  8. 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  9. Pinch of garlic powder


  1. Pound the chicken until its 1 inch thick and then add the mixed brining ingredients and brine for at least 3 hours or over night, covered with a film.
  2. Mix the egg and the milk.
  3. Season the flour.
  4. Once the chicken is brined, drain it and place it in the flour then in the egg and then again into the flour, then set aside.
  5. Add your oil into the non stick skilled and deep fry till the chicken is cooked evenly.
  6. Make your jalapeno sauce before hand by adding all the ingredients and mixing them, let it rest in the fridge for an hour.
  7. Assemble the burgers by lightly toasting the buns, then add the lattice, the chicken and the jalapeno sauce and secure it with a tooth pick.
  8. You can also add 2 pieces of jalapeno pickles separately as well.
  9. Serve hot with fries.
