Vietnamese chicken
Hi everyone!
So I know it's been a long time since I've posted but now I'm going to post a little often. Today's recipe is best cooked with chicken thigh pieces by removing the bones and with skin, I wasn't able to get chicken with it's skin, unfortunately but for the crispier chicken and better color use the chicken with skin.

  1. 1/2 kg boneless thigh chicken (with skin)
  2. 1 white onion sliced
  3. Vegetable oil
  4. Fish sauce 2 tbsp
  5. Red chilli flakes- pinch
  6. Jalapeños 1-2 sliced
  7. 1 tbsp soya sauce
  8. 2 tbsp lime juice or vinigar or apple cider vinigar
  9. Pinch of salt
  10. 1 chicken cube
  11. 2 tbsp water

  1. 2 tbsp fish sauce
  2. 1 tbsp garlic paste or crushed garlic
  3. 1/2 tbsp sugar
  4. 1 chopped green chilli
  5. Chopped lemon grass (optional)

  1. Marinate the chicken with the listed ingredients for half an hour.
  2. Take a pan, add the oil and fry the onions for a minute and then add your chicken with skin side down.
  3. When the chicken has changed it's color add rest of the ingredients except jalapeños.
  4. Add them at the end and cook for a minute.
  5. Turn the heat off when the gravy is thick.
  6. Serve immediately over rice.
