Today I'm sharing the recipe of my favorite snack! It's a delicious Pakistani take on rolls! It is spicy, tangy and I'm still not able to find one person who doesn't like it! Yes i talking about our very own desi paratha roll! 💕
The good news is that it's soo easy to make that anyone can make it even with frozen parathas! (it's a fried chapatti) So let's get started!
INGREDIENTS FOR CHICKEN:
- 1 big chicken breast piece cut into cubes
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 3 tbsp yogurt
- 1 squeezed lemon
- Salt according to taste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masla (all spice)
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- Pinch of white or black pepper
- 3 tbsp of tikka masala or tandoori masala
- 2 green chillies finely chopped
- Butter + oil for frying
INGREDIENTS FOR THE ROLL:
- 2 parathas ( use this recipe lacha paratha)
- 3 tbsp of imli ki chutney (tamarind sauce)
- 2 tbsp of mayonnaise
- 1 onion cut in rings
METHOD:
- Marinate the chicken for 2 hours in the ingredients listed above.
- Then in a pan add 1 tbsp butter and 2 tbsp oil.
- Add your chicken here and let it cook till the water dries and you see red marks over it.
- Now add your onion here and cook for a minute.
- Over your paratha, spread 1.5 tbsp chutney and 1 tbsp mayonnaise.
- Add half your chicken on one paratha.
- Roll it out.
- Wrap it in butter paper or aluminium foil.
- Serve hot with imli ki chutney.
