Chocolate dipped Bananas
Chocolate Dipped Bananas

Hey everyone!
I hope you all are doing well!! So I made a lot of recipes in between but I didn't post them because I didn't like them myself and I tend to never post stuff that I don't feel is 100% up to the mark! I'll surely improve those recipes and share them later! :D
Today's recipe is soo easy you guys shouldn't make any excuses that you can't make this one because literally even toddlers can make this one!
Chocolate and banana is my favorite combination especially when I'm eating fondue or any such dessert. I feel I'm not really a fan of strawberries dipped in chocolates that much :P if I'm allowed to say so. :P
Before we start, here is a disclaimer : if you want this recipe to taste good, use good quality chocolate chips preferably Hershey's or good quality chocolate, chopped. Milk chocolate is what I prefer because it has the right amount of sweetness.
Also you can add sprinkles or chopped almonds or hazelnuts really anything that suits your taste buds! So let's get started!

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 4 large bananas, fully ripe
  2. 100 grams of milk chocolate chips or milk chocolate
  3. 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
  4. 8 ice cream sticks
  5. Sprinkles/chopped almonds/ white chocolate syrup/ nutella (optional)

METHOD:

  1. Heat some water over your sauce pan and then place you heat resistant glass bowl which fits over the saucepan. Make sure the water isn't touching your bowl.
  2. Add chocolate and vegetable oil in the bowl.
  3. In less then minutes the chocolate is going to melt, mix well!
  4. Now cut you bananas in a half and insert your ice cream sticks inside.
  5. Dip then into the chocolate mix.
  6. Coat evenly but the help of a spoon, dip into sprinkles or extra toppings if you want.
  7. Place the banana over a butter paper or thick plastic.
  8. Let it stand on the room temperature for about 4 minutes.
  9. Then pop it into the freezer for 4 hours.
  10. Enjoy!

NOTE: Do not over load your bananas with chocolate and after coating them hold them vertically for a minute to drain the access! ( I wasn't patient enough!)

ALSO: You can make chocolate covered strawberries in the same way! Except don't use any sticks!!! 🍓
