Banana Chocolate smoothie
Hi everyone! Hope you all are doing well! So today I'm sharing with you my version of a chocolate banana smoothie. Everyone makes it differently with the ingredients they have on hand. So If you want a very healthy breakfast version you can omit icecream and brown sugar and use almond milk or low fat milk etc. You can add peanut butter to this too. Also use any chocolate you have on hand but I specifically urge the use of good quality coca for best results. So let's begin!

INGREDIENTS per Glass: (so you can double/tripple the recipe)

  1. 2 ripe, frozen bananas (sliced)
  2. 100 grams of frozen milk ( I place my pouch of milk in the freezer for 1 hour or until crystals appear in the milk, you don't want it completely solidified, only semi solid, semi liquid, to avoid the use of ice)
  3. 2 tbsp warm water
  4. 1 tbsp coca powder
  5. 1-2 tbsps of chopped chocolate
  6. 1 tbsp brown sugar (optional)
  7. 1 scoop of vanilla icecream



METHOD:


  1. Add coca powder, sugar and chocolate shavings into the water, mix well and let the chocolate melt completely.
  2. In a blender add bananas, chocolate mix, icecream and milk.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour it in a glass/jar. 
  5. Serve immediately.
