Chicken Manchurian

Hi guys! So today after a week I'm gonna be sharing with you a very easy, tasty and everyones favorite recipe, Chicken Manchurian. It's not an authentic Chinese recipe but its an Indochinese recipe. I have eaten this dish all my life as my comfort food. I used to have this Chinese takeaway nearby but when it closed up I had to resort to my own recipe which is actually way better! So let's get started!

  1. 750-1000 gram boneless chicken
  2. 1 cup of flour
  3. Salt
  4. Black pepper
  5. 1 tsp garlic paste
  6. 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  7. 1 tbsp lemon juice

  1. 2 cups of ketchup
  2. 1 cup of chicken stalk ( or 1 chicken cube mixed in 1 cup water)
  3. Salt
  4. 1 tsp black pepper
  5. 1 tbsp garlic paste
  6. 1 tbsp ginger paste
  7. 1 tsp MSG
  8. 1 tsp tomato paste
  9. 3 tbsp vinegar
  10. 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  11. 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  12. 1 tsp brown sugar
  13. Oil for frying
  14. 1 tsp cornflour mix with 3 tbsp water.

  1. Marinate chicken in the marinade for 20 minutes. Then fry it.
  2. In a separate pan add 1 tbsp oil and fry ginger and garlic.
  3. Then add ketchup, stalk and all the spices.
  4. Cook for 10 minutes then add cornflour and water mix.
  5. Mix well till it thickens.
  6. Serve hot with rice.
