Hi guys!
I know its been a week since I've posted. I've been unwell! :( Today I had to make something so I went for hash browns because everyone has potatoes to work with in their kitchen! Also this recipe yields crispy and delicious hash browns so no need to spend money on McDonald's. :D so let's get started!


  1. 1 large potato
  2. 1 bowl of cold water
  3. Salt
  4. Black pepper-pinch
  5. White pepper
  6. Paprika powder-pinch
  7. 1 egg white
  8. 2-3 tbsp flour
  9. Garlic powder or 1/4th tsp garlic paste
  10. 1/4th tsp mustard paste (optional)
  11. Oil for shallow frying
  12. Non stick pan

  1. Peel the potato and shred it using a shredder
  2. Now add it to a bowl of cold water for 5 minutes to allow the potato to release it's starch.
  3. Now strain the potato using a strainer.
  4. Now squeeze off excess water using a kitchen cloth.
  5. Now add the egg white, flour, pepper, garlic, paprika and mustard. 
  6. Mix well
  7. Now take some of this mixture and place it on the palm of your hand and flatten in out.
  8. Now place this into your non stick with 3 tbsp of oil on medium low heat.
  9. Flatten it further using a fork in the pan and the sprinkle some salt.
  10. Now allow it to cook, until golden and crispy on both sides. 
  11. Serve hot with fried egg etc.

NOTE: You can add salt before adding the mixture into the pan but that will make the potato release water into the mixture.
