Chocolate Fudge

Hi everyone! I've been busy in my exams, that's why I'm posting after a century! This recipe is the easiest and you can add anything that's your favorite to it. You can make it to please yourself or for as a party favour, what not! So let's get started.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 150-200 gram of condensed milk 
  2. 250 grams of good quality dark chocolate 
  3. Pinch of salt
  4. A drop of vanilla and 2 tbsp of butter
  5. A hand full of roasted peanuts
  6. Any other thing you like such as: walnuts, hazelnuts, chopped wafers, raisins, white chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, jelly, swirls of caramel, oats etc.



METHOD:


  1. In a  heat proof bowl add your chopped chocolate and butter.
  2. Now place it on a double boiler, for melting the chocolate. (Basically a sauce pan with very little water, simmering. (You can also melt your chocolate in the microwave, on defrost setting, checking after every 15 seconds, so that you don't burn your chocolate)
  3. Then after it has melted, take it off the boiler and add your salt, vanilla. Then fold in your condensed milk and your peanuts or whatever you are adding.
  4. Now in a baking sheet or any square container, lined with foil, add your mixture. Cover it with a cling film, touching the fudge.
  5. Now refrigerate for 4-5 hours.
  6. Cut it into your desired shape.

NOTE: You can double or triple the recipe.
