Hummus |
Hi guys! I'm so sorry for my lack of posting! I've been very lazy. So today i'm sharing this yummy hummus recipe because next i'll be making grilled chicken hummus sandwich so i thought you guys should already have this recipe.
Hummus is basically a Levantine dip or spread. It is a healthy alternative to your usual spreads.
INGREDIENTS:
- 400 gram can of cooked chick peas (with or without skin)
- 50 ml of olive oil
- 4 tbsp tahini paste OR pulse 4 tbsp of sesame seeds in a grinder (you can miss this step too if you want)
- Salt
- Black pepper- pinch
- Paprika- 1/2 tsp
- 2-3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1-2 cloves of garlic, chopped and grilled.
- Chopped olives- optional
METHOD:
- In a blender or processor add all you ingredients except olives.
- Blend until smooth.
- Then mixed the olives and serve with more Olive oil on top.
