Homemade hummus



Hi guys! I'm so sorry for my lack of posting! I've been very lazy. So today i'm sharing this yummy hummus recipe because next i'll be making grilled chicken hummus sandwich so i thought you guys should already have this recipe.
Hummus is basically a Levantine dip or spread. It is a healthy alternative to your usual spreads.


  1. 400 gram can of cooked chick peas (with or without skin)
  2. 50 ml of olive oil
  3. 4 tbsp tahini paste OR pulse 4 tbsp of sesame seeds in a grinder (you can miss this step too if you want) 
  4. Salt
  5. Black pepper- pinch
  6. Paprika- 1/2 tsp
  7. 2-3 tbsp lemon juice
  8. 1-2 cloves of garlic, chopped and grilled. 
  9. Chopped olives- optional


  1. In a blender or processor  add all you ingredients except olives.  
  2. Blend until smooth. 
  3. Then mixed the olives and serve with more Olive oil on top.
