Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Mashed Potatoes
Hi guys!
What's up? I hope you're doing well. I've been missing since the last 3 months and there is nothing to blame. I simply had zero motivation. Anyway! Today's recipe is simple, easy and delicious. I literally eat this with rice after adding some chicken. You can serve it as a side to any meat or simply eat it because who doesn't love mashed potatoes?

INGREDIENTS: (serves 2)

  1. 2 large potatoes (the starchier the better)
  2. 4 tbsp of butter/margarine
  3. 1 tsp/2 cloves of minced garlic.
  4. 3 tbsp cream
  5. Quarter cup of whole milk (add more if you like it real thin)
  6. Salt
  7. 1 tsp black pepper
  8. 1 tsp dried oregano/thyme or mixed Italian seasoning.
  9. Red chili flakes- a pinch or more.
  10. Shredded cheese- according to choice or availability.
  11. Add ons: Bite sized chicken pieces, chopped pickled mango, olives, 1 tbsp lemon juice etc.

  1. Peel your potatoes and boil them with salt.
  2. Mash after straing them.
  3. On a pan add butter and garlic, let it cook for about 40 seconds, mix well.
  4. Then add Italian seasoning, cream, milk, cheese, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper. Mix well. Let it boil.
  5. Now add this mix to your potatoes.
  6. Mash until everything is combined. Taste it if you want more salt.
  7. Serve immediately with more butter on top.
