Healthy Garlic Yogurt Sauce

So I had this little poll on my instagram story about if you prefer healthy recipes and most of you said yes.  So I decided to go for a dressing/sauce. Since I usually go for a sandwich everyday. Mayonnaise is my least favorite because it's too heavy and too many calories. This dressing is extremely tasty and healthy. Plus it is fullfiling.

I'm using strained yogurt, you can use Greek yogurt or strain yours overnight or just while you're prepping in 10 minutes.  Strained version is thick and creamy, which spreads well in sandwiches.

INGREDIENTS:


  1. 2/3rd of a cup of cold yogurt, strained or Greek yogurt.
  2. 1-2 tbsp lemon juice. 
  3. 1 tsp toasted, ground garlic. (I don't prefer the raw garlic)
  4. Black olives. 
  5. Very thinly chopped capsicum.  
  6. 1/2 tsp mustard  sauce
  7. 1/2 cucumber, peeled, grated,  strained.
  8. Shredded chicken/optional.
  9. Any other vegetable you have at hand that you like.  
  10. Salt and pepper. (add kind of red pepper if you're into spicy stuff)
  11. Chopped mint (optional) 

METHOD:

  1. Mix all the ingredients and refrigerate or use already  registered ingredients. 
  2. You can use this in your sandwich or omit the Vegetables and you it in wraps. 
Here's a sandwich I made using the dressing and some bologna slices, you can always replace that with an egg or lattice.
