Chicken Teriyaki |
Ingredients:
- Half kg boneless chicken thighs cut in strips
- 1/4th of a cup soy sauce
- 4 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- Salt and pepper for chicken
- 2 tbsp oil (preferably sesame)
- Broccoli for the side (optional)
- 1 tbsp corn flour
Recipe:
- In a bowl add chicken, salt, pepper, garlic, ginger, 1 tbsp soy sauce. Mix well and marinate. You can do it over night or for 1 hour.
- In a separate bowl mix remaining soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, 4 tbsp water and corn flour.
- Take a non stick plan, add chicken. Let it cook for 12 minutes or until there is no water left and there is brown color.
- Now add the sauce and cook until its thick.
- Serve with boiled rice and steamed vegetables.
